Are You A Person In Process?

You’ll fit right in.  Whether you’ve been a Christian your whole life or are just exploring spirituality, at Rain City Church you don’t have to pretend to be something you’re not. We’re a diverse group of folks who all look, vote and act differently, but value being real with ourselves, each other, and with God.  We don't try to measure up to a man-made, impossible standard of perfection.  Instead, we celebrate every big and small step forward as PEOPLE IN PROCESS becoming more and more like Jesus every day.

Are You Ready To Make Real Progress?

We don’t only focus on being good, we’re serious about doing good and doing it well.  Time and time again, we’ve seen the incredible ripple effects that happen when a committed group of people are MAKING REAL PROGRESS as a positive force in their homes, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and beyond.

“It's amazing to have an entire community come around your family to help them learn about God.”

HOW CAN WE MAKE REAL PROGRESS TOGETHER?

Our hope is to fill your everyday life with purpose, not just a bunch of obligations.

We believe that living a life full of purpose is found through:

EXPERIENCING GOD

There is nothing more transformative than experiencing and responding to the life-changing love of God. So, we apply practical spirituality that integrates into our everyday lives.

CONNECTING LIVES

God made us to enjoy meaningful, life-giving, and long-lasting relationships. So, we capitalize on opportunities that fit into our busy lives to foster those essential connections with each other.

DOING GOOD

We are biased toward action.  Whether through everyday acts of doing good, or extravagant acts of service and generosity, we believe that a thoughtful and committed community has the power to make the world a significantly better place here and now.

The Best Hour Of Their Week

At Rain City Church, your kids won't have the chance to get bored. Each Sunday, we turn multiple classrooms into large, safe play spaces. Through games, creativity and story-telling, we help your children understand just how much they are loved by God and how they can respond to that crazy love.

“We were in a really raw and broken place and had a lot of stuff to work through. What initially turned us on to Rain City Church and has worked to soften our hearts back to Jesus is the way that this place has loved and accepted and celebrated Caleb (our son with disabilities).”

Shea & Carissa R.

WHAT MAKES RAIN CITY CHURCH DIFFERENT?

WE’RE A FAMILY, NOT A CORPORATION

We’re a culture that’s centered on caring for, not controlling one another.

WE BUILD LONGER TABLES, NOT HIGHER WALLS

We actively invite and pull up a chair for the people who’ve been hurt by churches, or feel marginalized and oppressed.

WE BUILD UP, NOT BEAT DOWN

We inspire people to discover, understand, and live the best life God has designed for them.

WE CREATE INSTEAD OF COPY

We promote and practice fresh thinking that generates new and better ways to connect with God and others.

WE’RE CONTRIBUTORS, NOT CONSUMERS

As we invest more of our resources, abilities, and influence into God’s Kingdom, we experience more and more of His blessings in our lives.

WE’RE FOCUSED ON PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION

We celebrate every big and small step that people take to become more like Jesus.

WE BUILD GOD’S KINGDOM, NOT OUR EMPIRE

We are first and foremost focused on people becoming Jesus followers, not just becoming a big crowd.

“I wasn't a church guy nor a very religious person at all, then my wife dragged me to Rain City Church and surprisingly, I felt right at home here.  I had a lot of questions and doubts about faith and the Bible, but Rain City has been such a welcoming place that lets me process without trying to ‘fix’ me.  Being able to have those open and honest discussions have opened up my eyes and my mind.  I’m certain that I wouldn't be following Jesus today had I not found this amazing community.”
